Facials benefit all skin types often referred to as a luxury indulgence but are actually the best investment you can make for your skin.

Having regular treatments improves our skin health and improves the skin’s tone and elasticity.

Facials start with a double cleanse to remove makeup, impurities and toxins that build up on a daily basis. Then your skin is exfoliated using a gentle grainy creamy product, which gently slough’s off dead skin cells. Using an exfoliating product it increases the skin’s ability to absorb your skincare products better.

Facial massage using a serum oil not only helps to encourage detoxification of the skin, but it also helps with lymphatic drainage and stimulates the production of collagen and evens skin tone. Moisturisers protect the skin and a lot of products contain an SPF factor for use all year round.

I use Tropic skincare products and I also use Holistic Kitchen, skincare made with essential oils that smell divine.

Gua Sha

Facial Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese healing massage technique, using a flat stone or roller that is made of crystal such as Rose quartz, Obsidian, Amethyst or Jade. Gua means to stroke/scrape and Sha refers to redness. It helps relieve muscle tension in the face, neck and scalp by boosting blood circulation and encouraging lymphatic drainage. It softens fine lines, reduces puffiness and gives the skin a refreshed appearance.

Homecare advice is given and the option to buy Gua Sha tools is available upon request.
